Media Super congratulates all nominees and winners of the 2009 Walkley Awards. The awards were presented on Thursday night at a gala ceremony at the Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney.

Gary Hughes was awarded the highest honour in Australian journalism, taking out the Gold Walkley for his account of the Victorian bushfires.

Media Super was a major sponsor of the 2009 Walkley Awards.
