Fees and other costs

Media Super is run only to benefit members. We're committed to keeping fees low.

Some funds pay commissions to financial advisors and charge higher fees - we don't. We keep fees and costs low to help our members maximise their investment earnings.

Our low fee structure applies to both super accounts and pensions.

The following tables are a summary of fees and costs that apply to member accounts. For more details, select from the options on the left of this page.

General fees

Management costs

 $57.20 p.a. ($1.10 per week) plus 0.42% - 0.84% p.a. of total fund assets

Administration costs of $1.10 per week are deducted from your account balance monthly (or when you exit the Fund). Your investment manager fee varies from 0.31% to 0.71%, and is deducted from the particular investment option on a weekly basis prior to the unit price being calculated. This fee is not deducted from your account.

 $30 per transaction The switching fee will be deducted from your account at the effective date of your switch. The fee is waived if your first change is received by Media Super within 30 days of joining the Fund or if you are only changing your investment options for future transations.
