Remuneration

As an Industry Fund, Media Super is run only to benefit members. The Fund’s remuneration policies balance the need to resource the Fund adequately to provide quality products and services, with our core value of placing the needs of our members at the forefront of everything we do.

Media Super is required by the Supervision Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (SIS Act) to disclose on its website the remuneration details of its individual trustee directors, executive officers and senior managers. 

2018-19 FINANCIAL YEAR

The Directors of Media Super are remunerated for the work they do as Directors, although in some cases the payment is made to the nominating sponsoring organisation in compensation for time and costs associated with the involvement by the Director in the management of the Fund. The remuneration information reporting in the tables below is that of cash salary and superannuation benefits, where applicable,  for the year ending 30 June 2019.

The total remuneration packages paid for the year ending 30 June 2019 of executives and senior management staff employed by Media Super are as follows. Total annual remuneration package includes salary, superannuation, motor vehicle lease or allowance selected at the discretion of the executive.  A cash bonus may also have been paid in respect of performance for the year ending 30 June 2018.#
