If your application through myGov for an early release payment is approved by the ATO, they will send you a confirmation and notify Media Super. We will generally process your payment within five business days. Read the full details about timing and info to check before applying.

As an industry fund, Media Super is run purely to benefit our members. Our remuneration policies balance the need for adequate resourcing to provide quality products and services with our core value of always working with our members' best interests in mind.

Media Super is required by the Supervision Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (SIS Act) to disclose remuneration information for individual trustee directors, executive officers and senior managers.

2018-19 financial year

Director remuneration

Media Super Directors are remunerated for their work on the Board and Board Committees. In some cases the payment is made to the sponsoring organisation, rather than the Director, as compensation for the time and costs associated with the Director's involvement in managing the Fund.
