Take greater control of your super or pension investment with the Direct Investment option, allowing you to choose ASX300 companies, term deposits and exchange-traded funds.
Your super, your decision
Our Direct Investment option offers eligible members far greater control and freedom over their super savings than ever before. So if you've ever wanted to pick which shares you’re invested in, been attracted by term deposits, or wanted to invest in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), the Direct Investment option may be just what you’re looking for.
Why choose Direct Investment?
The Direct Investment option suits members who want to be actively involved in managing their investments.
Control where your money goes
Do you want to invest in specific companies or industries you're passionate about? With Direct Investment, you can pick specific shares you want to invest in from a range of ASX300 listed shares, or you can go for term deposits or Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
Shares are investments that represent part ownership of a company. You can invest in the top 300 largest Australian securities that form part of the S&P/ASX 300 Index.
Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)
ETFs are securities that aim to provide the same returns as a particular index or benchmark by investing in a range of securities that make up that index or benchmark.
Term deposits are investments with an interest rate that is fixed for a set term. Generally, term deposits offer a low level of return, but they are also less risky than other types of investments.
Manage your investments anytime, anywhere
The Direct Investment option allows you to make decisions when and where you need to, 24/7, without needing to set aside a large amount of time. Once you're all set up, you conduct all activities online. You'll be able to:
- Check the value of your investments
- Transact in a range of ASX300 listed shares, ETFs and term deposits
- Place buy and sell orders for ASX300 listed shares and ETFs on market (during ASX trading hours)
- Access personalised share trading information, open orders, trading history, and
