Skills and experience: Jason is the General Manager of Canberra Tradesman Union Club commercial operations and was ACT President of the Construction Forestry and Maritime Employees Union from 2018-2021. He was also the Assistant Secretary of the ACT branch for eight years. Prior to his CFMEU leadership roles Jason worked in construction in the ACT.
He is also a director at Industry Super Property Trust (ISPT) and was the Chair of the ACT Work Health and Safety Council from 2018 to October 2021 and Chair of Canberra Tradesmen’s Union Club Limited from 2010 to 2021.
Jason has experience in governance, leadership and development of registered organisations and charities to deliver high quality services and support to construction industry workers and their families. His success in reforming and managing organisations has led to significant improvement in the lives and wellbeing of construction industry workers and their families. He has also focussed on governance knowledge and skills, especially around policy and financial control.
