Most Media Super accounts come with a level of automatic default insurance cover. But we know that one size doesn’t fit all and there's a lot of reasons why the default level of cover might not suit you.

You might need to protect yourself and your family for a higher amount to cover mortgage payments. Or you’ve met with one of our financial planners who has recommended a different amount for you. Or you simply already have insurance outside of super.

Whatever the reason, you can tailor your insurance cover to suit your needs.

Before making any changes, think about how much insurance you need to make sure you, and your loved ones, have enough money if things don’t go to plan.

Joining Media Super as a new member?

You can make changes to your automatic insurance cover when you join Media Super by making a choice in the insurance section of the member application form. If you join online, you will be able to make changes using the relevant form once you have received your member number in your confirmation email.
