Pay super online
Make your employee super contributions online with our simple and efficient payment platform, Employer Portal*. No matter how many employees you have, the Employer Portal makes it fast and easy to pay employees’ super.
A secure online payment solution
Employer Portal is a secure online superannuation payment solution (clearing house). It allows you to pay all your employees' super contributions through the one platform, regardless of their super fund.
With Employer Portal, you can register multiple companies under the one user account. This allows you to pay contributions for numerous employers from a single login.
You can quickly and easily advise employee exits, new employees and contributions via a file upload or choose to update employee details manually.
Small business clearing house
Small businesses with less than 20 employees have an alternative to Employer Portal. The Australian Tax Office (ATO) provides a free clearing house that can satisfy Super Guarantee (SG) obligations. You can register online for this service.
For more information, visit the ATO website.
Register for Employer Portal
To use Employer Portal, you first need to register. You'll need your ABN, primary email for the account, contact details and bank details on hand. Once you've filled in your details and submitted your registration, you'll receive an email with a temporary password. You should receive this email instantly.
Follow the directions in the registration confirmation email to log in.
Making contributions easily
Before you can make a contribution, you'll need to add your employee’s details in the 'Contributions and Employee Updates' section of Employer Portal. To do this you can upload a file or manually enter the information.
You can then make a contribution to that employee, edit their details or exit them.

Salary sacrifice and payroll deductions
Your employees might want to make additional contributions to their super from their pay. They can either do this from their:
- Before-tax income known as salary sacrifice
- After-tax income known as a payroll deduction
These payments can be made along with your SG contributions through Employer Portal.
Please note these options have different tax implications for both your business and your employees, as well as different reporting requirements.
