Super that supports your industry

Building on solid foundations

Media Super was created by the print, media, entertainment and arts sectors to look after workers in this vibrant community of industries.

We’ve been helping members achieve their retirement goals for more than 30 years, including our early days as Print Super and JUST Super.

Your industries are represented on our Board of Directors, with representatives from member and employer organisations. These include Print and Visual Communications Australia, Screen Producers Australia and Live Performance Australia, Fairfax Media Limited, and AMWU and MEAA.

Partnering for stronger industries

As your industry super fund, our aim is to help members achieve financial security in retirement. And as part of Australia’s creative community, we also work with our industry partners to help them build vibrant, robust sectors.

Through our partnership program, Media Super supports a range of different organisations and events which help develop talent, solve industry concerns and celebrate achievements.

These partnerships also allow us to provide employers in our industries with a better understanding of their super responsibilities. Through our partners’ events we provide briefings tailored to each unique industry need. We understand that managing super for a print shop is very different to managing super for a film production.

We also foster new industry talent through funding internships and education programs.

Investing back into your industries

We don't just talk the talk about supporting our industries, we put our money where our mouth is.

Media Super has been investing in Australian film and TV productions for 10 years now.

In partnership with Fulcrum Media Finance, we’ve supported more than 225 high-quality films and TV shows and the investment has helped to bring local stories to life and create opportunities for Australian actors, filmmakers and crew to ply their craft at home.

We have also invested in the Australian Chamber Orchestra's (ACO) Instrument Fund, which has so far acquired four stringed instruments from the 'Golden Age' of stringed instruments. These are loaned to the ACO and played on stages in Australia and internationally.
