Skills and experience: Stuart Gordon has a wealth of experience as a director across multiple sectors. With a trade background in printing and finishing, Stuart has held directorships in printing and media industry super funds between 2005 and 2019, bringing a focus on corporate governance, committee leadership, and growth.
Stuart was a Director of Print Super during the fund’s merger with JUST Super to become Media Super. He joined the Media Super board and chaired the Media Super Benefit and Insurance Committee and was a member of the Remuneration Committee.
Stuart is the South Australian State Secretary of the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU), representing members in manufacturing, print, construction, and defence industries.
Stuart is a board member of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and proxy on the Construction Long Service Leave Board (CLSB). In these roles Stuart reviews investment performance, strategy, and risk and compliance. He is also the Chair of the Manufacturing and Automotive Industry Skills Council and an SA Skills Commission member.
