Career overview
Amanda was appointed Acting Chief Technology Officer in October 2025 and was permanently appointed to the role in April 2026. She is responsible for technology, digital services and cyber security, as well as supporting strategic execution, innovation and member-focused experiences.
An accomplished technology and business leader with experience across the energy, health and financial services sectors, Amanda has led large-scale transformation and product delivery programs that improve customer outcomes and commercial performance. She joined CBUS from Alinta Energy – serving as Executive Director, Retail Markets where she led a major re-platforming of the retail business. Prior to this, Amanda was CEO Healthcare at Australian Unity, overseeing the Private Health Insurance and Allied Health Services businesses, delivering an Australian-first integrated care model at scale. She also served as Group Executive Customer, Digital & Technology at Australian Unity. Prior to that she held senior operations, project and technology roles at diversified financial services company Perpetual Limited.
