Summary of payments made by the fund
Expense category - aggregate
(2024/25 financial year)Amount Remuneration expenditure $9,307,251 Promotion, marketing and sponsorship expenditure $24,737,893 Political donations $0 Industrial body payments $1,373,368 Related party payments $48,418,918
If you add up the expenses, the total may look higher than what was actually paid. That’s because some costs appear in more than one category.Remuneration: salaries for our CEO, Group Executives, restructuring costs for 2024/25 financial year, directors’ fees and board committee fees.
Brand, marketing and sponsorships: expenses where the purpose of each payment was to promote or market Cbus Super or where the payment relates to sponsorship and partnership arrangements. This helps to grow our fund and increase scale, which means lower fees for you.
Donations to political organisations: we do not make political donations.
Payments to industrial bodies: partnership arrangements, which may include marketing, events and education services to help promote Cbus Super and grow the fund.
Payments to related parties: payments made to related entities for business operations, or for services from an organisation in which we also invest, or when a director is an employee or a director of an organisation which provides services to us.
