Cbus Property unveils new riverfront development

Cbus Property* has unveiled plans for its 25th Greater Melbourne project, a $400 million residential development set on a one-hectare riverfront site at 43-67 River Street, Richmond. This transformation will turn the current commercial site into a vibrant new precinct, capitalising on its elevated position with uninterrupted views of the Yarra River and raised view lines to Melbourne’s CBD.

The concept design includes 187 one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes distributed across two apartment towers rising 10 and 12 storeys, alongside a collection of multi-level townhouses fronting the river.

The development will feature a two-level basement car park and premium shared amenities, including an indoor pool, co-working spaces, and a communal rooftop terrace.

By blending high-quality design with relative affordability, the project seeks to foster a thriving residential community and contribute positively to Richmond’s local economy. A planning application is expected to be lodged later this year, with construction proposed to commence in early 2027.
